講座内容

　This class is for intermediate-level students who want to build up their conversation skills by discussing events in their lives and the world around them. In class we will use two or three high-interest feature articles taken from a range of American, British and Japanese newspapers. These include the New York Times, Newsweek, The UK Guardian and the Japan Times. The articles will include topics such as health, education, language, technology and food as well as reviews of new books and movies. Up-to-date feature articles (usually 4-600 words) will be handed out in class and also sent by e-mail, one week in advance. In class students will be encouraged to talk about their own experiences and connect them with the topics we read about. Stimulating conversation and a warm and cooperative learning community are guaranteed.

「レベル選択の目安」の中級〜上級相当の方。
