講座内容

　Invigorate your dormant English skills! Revitalize your English through presentations! A vocabulary list and transcript are provided before we watch each talk. We read the script aloud in pairs and discuss the gist of what was said. The following week, working from six to eight simple drawings with keywords, participants summarize the talk for a partner. Everyone then shares related information. Join us for encounters with fascinating topics and learn about something new in English.

　Past topics have included: a 500-year old Cold Case, Food Self Sufficiency in England and Beit Sahur, Israel. The Active Use of Placebos, Sloths and Avocado Distribution, Civic Volunteers Beautifying India, Canada's Camels, Tree Root-fungi Communication, Innovative Chinese Restaurants Around the World, Ski Cap Brain Scans, Gender Reassignment after 60, and Social Plastic: Plastic Trash as Currency.
